We design for the "Garage Fabricator." You’ll need a miter saw, a drill/driver, a pocket hole jig, and a sander. No industrial planers, jointers, or $5,000 table saws required.

Do the plans include sourcing for cushions and materials?

Yes. We provide a complete Logistics Blueprint so you can spend your time building, not hunting for parts. Every plan package includes:

Why don’t your plans feature budget materials like pressure-treated pine?

To be honest, we catch some heat for being "material snobs". While the physical geometry of our furniture would technically work with any 2x4, you won't find a single recommendation for pressure-treated pine in our guides.

We prioritize Material Science and the long-term enjoyment of your outdoor sanctuary. Standard construction pine is prone to leaking sticky sap, twisting as it dries, and splitting under direct sun. Because we design for Architectural Weight and Showroom-Quality Results, we exclusively specify Western Red Cedar.

How long do these projects actually take to complete?

A single club chair can be built and sanded in a focused Saturday morning. A full sectional typically takes a weekend. Our goal is to get you out of the garage and into the "Host" chair as quickly as possible.

Can I leave this furniture outdoors year-round?
